Tom Crowl
Comedy Ventriloquist & Magician
Tom Crowl was introudced to hte world of show business through the medium of television. Watching Senor Wnces on the old Ed Sullivan Show gave him a love for the skill of ventriloquism; butwhen Marshall Brodien introduced the TV Magic Deck - it was the thrill of magic that started him down the entertainment path. Steve Martin and Robin WIlliams also inspired the young performer to develop his own comedic style of performance.
The summer of 1984, Tom became a full time professional magician. In 1991, Tom was married and his wife, Dierdre, joined the show as a partner. Her comedic ad-libs made them a sought after act and the couple traveled the world performing for schools, colleges, fairs, festivals, corporations and even on cruise ships. eventually it became a family affair when their son joined the act at the age of three.
After performing together for over 14 years, Diedre decided to pursue her own career in the corporate world as Tom continued performing. It was during this time, his love of ventriloquism re-surfaced. Now Tom is once again bouncing jokes and witty comebakcs off his performing partners. This time, however, he gets the final word - even when they aren't coming from his mouth!
