An educational and entertaining experience for all, ELEPHANT ENCOUNTER will acquaint you with the world’s largest animals. Come and meet Cora, our 49-year-old Asian elephant, and Shannon, our 25-year-old African elephant. No place, anywhere, will you see elephants like you are going to see here at the fair.

“Pigs Gone Wild!” allows fairgoers the opportunity to participate in the longest running free show offered by the Fayette County Fair. This fast paced and funny show was originally established by Nancy Herring and was known as Nancy’s Racing Pigs. Today the show is known as “Pigs Gone Wild,” and is hosted by Jill Jackson Matiyasic, who was hand selected by Nancy Herring, to continue the pig racing tradition at the Fayette County Fair.

Vincentas White Tigers

Vicenta comes from a long line of circus performers on both sides of her family.
She was born into the great Pages performing dynasty.
She grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals.Not just dogs and horses but
camels, elephants,and tigers too.
Her feline co-stars are white striped Bengals. Four females and two males. Their
names: Spirit, Fiona, Kia, Mikayla,Mohan, Taurus.
While Vicenta is an extraordinary tiger trainer,her circus repertoire also includes
impressive aerial skills such as flying trapeze,lyra,and roman rings being her
specialty
Vicenta made her first public appearance at the age of four
Her first solo appearance she made at age eight in an act featuring four ponies
At age 12 she was all ready performing her aerial rings
Growing up on Circus Pages around aerial & animals Vicenta decided to take after
her grandfathers footsteps, working with tigers
First with her grandfather and father by her side many years of training she
developed this beautiful act
Vicenta has 6 children, her tigers raised from age 14 months and thats the special
bond apart from others!

Barnyard Petting Zoo

The Barnyard Show is a mobile educational farm center complelty self-contained and includes a sound system. In 1993, John "Farmer John" Forshee developed the mobile educational farm center, entitled "Barnyard Express." Animals include a miniature horse, calf, sheep, goat, pig, and of course Farmer John's dog "Smudge".

Barney of Mayberry

Scott is a "dead ringer" of Barney Fife, the bumbling deputy of Mayberry. He looks, walks, talks, and acts as only Barney can, and always reminds people to "nip it in the bud." Scott is a well-established theater actor with experience in radio, television commercials, promotions, and music videos. He has also been in shows with some of the biggest names in the entertainment business.

Frisbee dog show grounds act; featuring both of the 2010 World Frisbee Dog Champions. This internationally acclaimed professional Frisbee dog touring show is comprised of the largest collection of the best Frisbee Dogs on the planet. (including 9 different World Finalists). All of their shows are family oriented; carry a message of fun, athleticism, canine bonding, and promote dog rescuing. Their routines are choreographed to music, defy the normal relationship between man and canine; and leave even the oldest of children with a smile on their face and in their heart. And to make it even more interesting; all of the dogs are "rescue" dogs, meaning they have come from either abandoned, homeless, sheltered, humane society, etc. backgrounds. Their individual stories are almost as interesting as their performances. We promise you will be laughing and clapping in awe at the tricks these dogs perform.
